By using our website and products, you confirm that you are an Australian resident and of eighteen years of age (or more).

Your provision of personal information. All provision of personal information is optional. However, if you do not provide us with certain personal information and/or you decline cookies on your computer, we may be unable to provide our products to you and you may be unable to enjoy the full functionality of the website (such as becoming a website member).

Collection of information. We may collect personal information from you, such as your name, address, phone number, email address, occupation, company, title, position and interests when youuse our website, or make a request for our products. Non-identifiable information may be used for business development purposes, improvements to our website, products and services and for marketing and forecasting. Disclosure. We do not sell, rent or lease our customer lists to third parties. We will only disclose your personal information to other persons/businesses/government agencies in the following circumstances:

However, you acknowledge that the security, confidentiality and integrity of information transmitted over the internet cannot be guaranteed and we offer no warranties as to its security.

Transfer out of Australia. You consent to the transfer and/or storage of your personal information outside of Australia where this is done in the normal course of the services provided by our third party supplier.  While we only use third party suppliers who we believe are reputable, we in no way vouch for the adequacy of their security procedures or their data treatment practices. To the extent legally permissible, you release us from all liability related to the treatment or use of that data by our third party services.

PaymentInformation. In general, any information which you provide related to the processing of payments (referred to as “Payment Information”) is provided by you to a payment system which is provided by a third party (such as a bank) (“third party payment system”). This Privacy Policy does not address or protect the treatment of Payment Information by those third party payment systems.  Payment Information is subject to the legal terms between you and that third party payment system. To the extent legally permissible, we are not responsible for and are in no way liable for the treatment of such information.  We do not request credit card details or store credit card details on our servers (unless you provide them to us outside our usual business practices). If you do not accept all risks associated with using a third party payment system, you may contact us to discuss the possibility of an alternative payment method.

Public message boards and forums. Any information (including personally identifiable and sensitive information) which you disclose in any forum or other messaging service provided on the website may be viewed, collected and used by other website users whose actions are outside of our control. You acknowledge that any such information may be available to other website users and is not subject to the protections set out in this Privacy Policy. Please take care in determining what information you disclose.

Links to/from other websites. We are in no way responsible for the privacy statements or manner of data collection or use of external websites which are linked from or to our website. Where you follow a link to an external website you do so at your own risk.

E-newsletters and other electronic promotions. By providing your email address you automatically become an email subscriber and consent to us sending you our electronic newsletter and other emails related to the marketing and administration of the website, our products and services. All promotional emails will include the option to unsubscribe from receiving further emails or you can unsubscribe from such emails by notifying us at shop@omika.com.au.

Updating your information. If you have any questions about the information we hold about you or if you would like to update or correct any information we hold about you, you can contact us at shop@omika.com.au.

Updates. At various times we may update this Privacy Policy by publishing a new version on the website. At any point in time, the most recently updated Privacy Policy is the one that applies to your information. If you are concerned about the use of your information you should check back periodically to see if any changes have been made to the Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Western Australia and each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia. The Website operates in compliance with Australian privacy legislation. If you are resident in another jurisdiction we cannot guarantee our compliance with the relevant local privacy laws and, to the extent legally permissible, you release us from any liability in relation to such laws.
